Hips ... Kate dances with local woman
PRINCE William and his wife Kate put on a song and dance as they partied with islanders on their royal tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge donned colourful skirts and danced the night away at a gathering of island chiefs on Tuvalu in the South Pacific. The couple joined six communities at a local gathering where different groups try to outsing and dance each other in a friendly contest.
Kate laughed as she took to her feet to show off her moves — much to the delight of the crowds.
Wills joined in later and at one stage both had colourful skirts tied around them to make them really feel the part.
The couple also took part in a tradition where they spray perfume on performers as a mark of respect, and they doused the dancers with a bottle of Paul Smith London.
William described the night as “good, really good - an amazing evening” when asked by Tapugao Falefou, a senior government official if he had enjoyed himself.
The rousing event capped a busy but exciting day for the royals who were welcomed with a greeting not seen since the Queen last set foot on Funafuti, Tuvalu’s main island, in 1982.

A group of 40 singing women wearing purple dresses covered in cream flowers accompanied them.
