Although the helicopter was originally scheduled to land on the red carpet, however, due to safety and permit issues in the last hour, we had to land it across the street from the venue, and had to shuttle him from there.

Fans cheered on his arrival and were even more elated when he hit the stage with James Bond themed opening number. The star-studded event featured several highlights including rib-crabbing jokes from comedians AY, Seyi Brown and Jedi who kept the crowd continuously entertained. Other side attractions of the day were Dance performances to PSquare’s Personaly, Alingo, just mention a few and special music performance by the Refuges …. On Saturday, October 26, 2013, it was a night of undiluted groove and fun as some Nigerian celebrities gathered at Swanky’s Alibi Lush Mall, located at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, for the Lee’s Celebrity Monthly Birthday Party.

Maheeda’s Instagram Account Blocked!

Controversial singer, and former Gospel artist – Yes Gospel Artist, Maheeda has finally given Instagram all they could handle, and her account has been blocked.

Over the last couple of weeks, Maheeda had been pushing the limits of social media decency by posting raunchier, and raunchier photos on her instagram page. At some point she actually posted a picture that showed her boob. No subtlety at all.

Most recently in an image she showed an exposed male member and expressed that the photo was of a fan‘worshipping at her church on Sunday’.

Instagram have said clearly in their policy that nudity is not permitted on the website and I guess with numerous of people reporting the page, it was taken down. She has since opened up another account

Stella Oduah spotted in Israel as Pres. Jonathan refuses to see her

Aviation Minster Stella Oduah is currently in Israel where she went to meet President Jonathan to explain her role in the controversial BMW car deal and also take part in the signing of the Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Israel. But according to new reports, the president has not only refused to see Stella Oduah, he's also keeping her out of the signing ceremony which will hold today in Israel.

President Jonathan is said to be uncomfortable with the public outrage surrounding the minister and he doesn't want it to look like he's condoning corruption, especially since he's set up a committee to probe the minister.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) said recently that they don't have any documents relating to the controversial bulletproof cars it bought for the Minister

Edo State government denies hosting Dillish? Lol. Stop, please!

So there's a press statement from Edo State government denying hosting BBA winner, Dillish, last weekend. Well, they kinda have a point...they can say the government didn't host her, but Governor Adams Oshiomhole hosted her...and that's fact! She wasn't hosted at the government house, but the governor's private house in Edo state. Dillish and a few other girls were there on Saturday October 19th (for those wondering why she didn't make an appearance at Selly's party in Abuja that day) and I have the low down of everything that went down but I will leave all that out because after all said and done, Gov Oshimhole is a single man. I can also tell you one thing for free, Dillish gave a condition for accepting the invitation..she would only pay a courtesy visit and nothing more. All parties agreed!

Why can't these beautiful people stay married? According to new reports, actor Orlando Bloom and super model Miranda Kerr have split up after just three years of marriage and six years together.
In a joint statement, Orlando and Miranda Kerr said they separated amicably a few months ago.

"After 6 years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family." A res for the couple said in a statement

Orlando and Miranda began dating in 2007 and got married in July 2010. They have a two and a half year old son named Flynn..

The winners of the night however were OC Ukeje and Rita Dominic who went home with the Lead actor and Lead actress of the year respectively.
Funke Akindele and Imeh Bishop walked home with the best indigenous actor and actress awards.

There’s No Injunction Against Me – Brymo

Brymo has come out to refute the rumors that his former label, Chocolate City have put out an injunction against him and his album which could prevent him from distributing, recording or performing as an artist.
He further stated via his twitter handle that the rumor is a ploy to to disrupt his street release of his album which is set for friday. He even added “as usual” which suggests there is a history here.
It doesn’t look like this will end soon, or end in a cordial way. The bigger question here is who is telling the truth?

“The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, is the statutory regulator of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Industry.

Consequently, the NCAA is charged with oversight responsibilities over all civil aviation operations in the country, including safety, security and strict compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, SARPs, and Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations, NCARs.

2. Towards the effective implementation of its statutory regulatory responsibilities, therefore, it is imperative that the NCAA is fully equipped with highly specialised tools and facilities, including adequate operational vehicles to cover all 22 national airports and over 400 airstrips. In keeping with standard practice, provision is therefore made annually for the replacement of obsolete, inadequate & unreliable monitoring equipment.

According to new reports, Minister of Aviation Ms Stella Oduah is currently in Israel with president Jonathan. Stella Oduah left Nigeria on Tuesday while President Jonathan left yesterday. The two are in Israel to sign the Bilateral Air Services Agreement, BASA, with the country.

Pres. Jonathan is also in Jerusalem for pilgrimage. And you guys thought she was under probe? Lol
