Little Mix dolls are a big miss in the lookalike stakes

LITTLE Mix have been immortalised in doll form – but their alter egos look nothing like them.

The girl group have launched the plastic versions of themselves just in time for Christmas.
But fans may find it hard to pick out which member of the band is which because apart from their distinctive clothing, the dolls faces don’t bear any resemblance to them.

Blonde Perrie has fared the best out of the group with her blue eyes and delicate features clearly visible on her mini-me.
But we’re not sure the doll makers have actually met Jade – who, with her newly dyed locks, looks more like Jesy’s red-haired doll.
Clearly the girl’s ever-changing hairstyles were a problem for the designers.
Since the toys were manufactured Jesy’s red hair has been dyed a dark brown, Leigh-Anne’s afro has been straightened, Perrie’s bleach blonde has been given a silver wash and Jade’s purple streaks are now red.
The band were reported to have signed a six-figure deal to release the dolls.
During a sneak preview when they were being made, Leigh-Anne, 21, admitted she was unsure about their likeness to the group.
She said: "It was so weird seeing a mock-up of them.
"Seeing our heads like that... We didn’t have any hair so we were just these bald heads.
"And we were, like, 'Our noses don’t look like that!'
"They did get a few minor things wrong but, aside from this, it was the most surreal thing."
The 12” replica versions of Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jessy will be on sale from Monday.
But whether fans will be happy to splash out £19.99 for them remains to be seen.
Especially when they could buy some fancy dress and give their own Barbies a makeover with similar results.

  1. I don't follow the Little Mix group, but the dolls look interesting - different - enough on their own. The bodies look peculiar; at least the one with the pink leopard pants. Were I one of the girls, I would be offended.
