Trouble In Iroko! CEO Of Iroking Michael Ugwu Fired From Company; “Iroko Has Structural Problems” Says Michael

One of Africa’s biggest digital content distributors, Iroko Partners (home to iROKOtv and iRoking) has hit a serious ice berg in terms of their company progress. The news coming out of the Iroko camp is that Michael Ugwu, the CEO of the Iroking (the music division of Iroko Partners) has been fired for what is being termed as “Gross Misconduct”, and claims that he was started his company to compete with Iroking while still working for Iroko Partners.

With the press statement put out by a representative of Jason Njoku, one of the founders of Iroko partners, Michael Ugwu has also put out a statement in defense of his actions, and has some choice words to say about his former company. He has even added a screenshot of message received from one of the company execs to back his claims.
