One Direction announce the name of their second album

New album ... One Direction hope to follow up the success of their debut with Take Me Home

ONE Direction have unveiled that the name of their highly-anticipated second studio album will be Take Me Home.

Band member Louis Tomlinson excitedly announced the title via his Twitter page yesterday.
He said: "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called "take me home" can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome".
The record-breaking boyband have already revealed the first single from the album Live While We're Young - which has given the boys yet another record under their belts by becoming the fastest-selling pre-order single ever.
The track isn't out until September 30, but has already gone to No1 on the iTunes chart in 40 countries worldwide.

Take Me Home - which has seen the boys working with a variety of writers and producers including Ed Sheeran - is expected to be released in November.
The album has a lot to live up to - debut LP release Up All Night hit the No1 spot in 17 countries and went on to make them the first ever UK act to go straight in at No1 with their first album in US chart history.
One Direction have teased that there will be more big news for them today at 3pm, with a post on their Twitter page reading: "Today sees more big news coming from the boys! Be online at 3pm UK time to find out what it is!!"
It has also been revealed today that the group have been transformed into comic book characters for a publication called Fame: One Direction.

The plotline of the book will follow bandmates Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik on their journey from X Factor to worldwide stardom.
The young stars have already appeared as animated characters in The Adventurous Adventures Of One Direction - which has had over six million YouTube hits to date.
One Direction will be performing live at the iTunes Festival 2012 on September 20, before embarking on an eight-month world tour from February to October next year.
