PRINCE Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have been cuddling koalas in Australia on the Diamond Jubilee Tour.
The Prince of Wales was having a laugh about weak bladders of koalas as he held Kao, aged four and said: “Something ominous will run down."Camilla on the other hand was completely smitten with nine-month-old orphan Matilda.
The less pragmatic Duchess said that she wanted to take the little koala home:
Charles and Camilla cuddle koalas
As Camilla saw the animals she gestured at Kao, saying to Charles “you take the big one, darling”.
The cuties, wrapped in cloth pouches, munched away eucalyptus leaves oblivious to the royals holding them.
Camilla joked: “They’ve got their nappies on.”
And the Prince of Wales noted that Kao faced away from him at all times.
The royal couple are currently on the second leg of the Diamond Jubilee Tour, visiting Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand.
