Koala rescue volunteers brought Kao and Matilda to meet the royal couple as they walked onto the veranda of Government House in Adelaide.
As Camilla saw the animals she gestured at Kao, saying to Charles “you take the big one, darling”.

The cuties, wrapped in cloth pouches, munched away eucalyptus leaves oblivious to the royals holding them.
Camilla joked: “They’ve got their nappies on.”
And the Prince of Wales noted that Kao faced away from him at all times.
