A TEENAGER was killed by a drunk driver on her way to give birth.
Nine months pregnant Tiffany Ann Woodham was a passenger in a van with her fiancé when a pick-up truck ploughed into the back at 80mph.
Tiffany, 19, was rushed to hospital where doctors performed an emergency C-section but she and the unborn daughter she had named Novalee died.
Pick-up owner Thomas Dick, 37, was arrested and is said to have been twice the legal drink-drive limit.
Police said Dick of Tulsa, Oklahoma, showed little remorse and was more worried about the condition of his vehicle. He faces two counts of vehicular homicide following the crash in Winter Haven, Florida.
Tiffany, from Bartow, Florida — described by friends as a “beautiful mum-to-be” — was engaged and had been expected to give birth in a week but her labour started early.

Her brother Cody Breton said: “I am so upset about it I can’t even cry.
“Every day I would wake up and rub my sister’s stomach and tell her how much I loved her.”
Tiffany’s mum Teresa Hidle said: “Tiffany would do anything for anybody. She didn’t care who it was or what the situation, she would always help someone out."

Tiffany’s fiancé Zachary Rowles, 22, was also in the car and received non-life threatening injuries.
Another passenger also escaped with minor injuries but a fourth person was airlifted to hospital with serious wounds.
Grady Judd, Polk County sheriff, said of the tragedy: “It absolutely infuriates us because we have a 19-year-old young lady dead, her baby’s dead, because someone cared so little about life that they’ll drink and drive.”
